Firmstone Technology Solutions, a trade name of ANA-SCI Consulting LLC, is committed to making this website usable for as many people as possible, including people who rely on assistive technology. Accessibility is an ongoing effort, and we treat it as part of building software that actually works.
Conformance target
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities. We test against this target as the site evolves and address issues as we find them.
Measures we take
- Semantic HTML and landmark regions so screen readers can navigate page structure, with a “skip to content” link at the top of every page.
- Full keyboard operability for navigation, the command palette, and the contact form, with visible focus styles.
- Color contrast that meets the WCAG AA threshold for text against the site's dark background.
- Descriptive alternative text for meaningful images, and decorative visuals marked so assistive technology can ignore them.
- Respect for the operating system “reduce motion” preference, which pauses non-essential animation.
- A responsive layout that works across phone, tablet, and desktop screen sizes and supports browser zoom.
Known limitations
We are honest about where the experience is still improving:
- The animated three-dimensional graphic in the homepage hero is decorative and is hidden from assistive technology; no information is conveyed by it alone.
- The contact form uses a third-party verification widget (Cloudflare Turnstile) whose presentation we do not fully control.
